Suffolk County also includes Chelsea District Court, where cases arising out of Revere are also prosecuted. Cases arising out of Winthrop are prosecuted in East Boston. The Essex County jurisdiction encompasses 34 cities and towns.  Criminal cases arising out of Essex County are prosecuted in courts located in Gloucester, Haverhill, Lynn, Lawrence, Newburyport, Peabody and Salem.
