There are those whom we admire… folks who touch our lives in positive ways. But how often do we publicly sing the praises of those whom we hold in high esteem, in a world were criticism rules?
This year, the Lynn Item newspaper asked its readership to speak up via survey to identify the best in their community. Ten lawyers were nominated. The winner is the city’s “favorite son,” Attorney Gary Zerola.
According to Karyann Milinopoulus, who is front line to the pulse of the city as Lynn Item’s Reader Services Rep, Boston attorney Gary Zerola is truly champion of the people. Zerola, voted “Greater Lynn’s Favorite Attorney” is known for his zeal, grit and concern for justice for his clients. Milinoplous says, “There are so many people who say when you need to get out of a bind, Gary is the one to call! He knows the law and will stand by you no matter what.”
Gary Zerola might be a man of influence in Boston, where he maintains an office close to the steps of Suffolk Law School, (where he was a graduate and also commencement speaker), but he will never forget his Lynn roots, or his connection to the Lynn community. The folks in the Lynn area won’t let him forget. Gary’s personal Facebook page is full of praise from those who call him “someone special,” 
“an incredible man” with a “huge heart,” saying they are “eternally thankful” for his representation. Raised in Lynn by foster parents who greatly influenced his decision to become a lawyer (his foster dad is an attorney), Zerola is humbled by the praise he receives. He says his “passion for defending this accused will never waiver.”
Gary Zerola is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Boston Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Bar Association. And is Greater Lynn’s Favorite Attorney.
